Spider Pizza Recipe
Ingredients:
For the Pizza Dough:
1 packet (2 1/4 teaspoons) active dry yeast
1 teaspoon sugar
3/4 cup (180ml) warm water (about 110°F or 43°C)
2 cups (250g) all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon olive oil
For the Toppings:
1/2 cup (120ml) pizza sauce
1 1/2 cups (150g) shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup (50g) sliced black olives (for the spider body)
1/2 cup (50g) sliced pepperoni or salami (for the spider legs)
Optional: additional toppings of your choice (bell peppers, mushrooms, etc.)

Instructions:
1
Prepare the Dough:
In a small bowl, combine the warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for about 5-10 minutes, or until it becomes frothy.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour and salt. Make a well in the center and add the yeast mixture and olive oil. Mix until a dough forms.
Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes until smooth and elastic. Place the dough in a lightly greased bowl, cover with a clean kitchen towel, and let it rise in a warm place for about 30-60 minutes, or until doubled in size.
2
Preheat the Oven:
Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C) and place a pizza stone or baking sheet inside to heat up.
3
Shape the Pizza:
Once the dough has risen, punch it down and roll it out on a floured surface into your desired pizza shape (round or rectangular).
Carefully transfer the rolled-out dough to a piece of parchment paper (this makes it easier to transfer to the hot stone or baking sheet).
4
Assemble the Pizza:
Spread the pizza sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges.
Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese on top of the sauce.
Create the spider by placing a cluster of sliced black olives in the center for the spider body. Arrange slices of pepperoni or salami around the body, positioning them to resemble spider legs (you can use four or eight legs, depending on how many you want).
5
Bake the Pizza:
Carefully transfer the pizza (with the parchment paper) onto the preheated pizza stone or baking sheet.
Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.
6
Serve:
Remove the pizza from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before slicing.
Serve hot and enjoy your creepy, crawly Spider Pizza!
